We are currently looking for a Senior Project Coordinator for one of our opportunities in the National Capital Region.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and track project decisions, action items, risk, issues and change requests;
  • Prepare and coordinate monthly project reports and governance committees material;
  • Maintain bring forward (BF) and other project control systems;
  • Enter project financial information into financial systems, produce project financial reports, and resolve any discrepancies;
  • Assist in project coordination and synchronization of tasks;
  • Maintain and update relevant project information in manual and electronic files; project information might include such things as project activity schedule, status reports, correspondence;
  • Assist in the development, maintenance and tracking of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and project plans, including milestones, resource allocation, progress, trending, etc.;
  • Perform analysis and reporting on project progress, risks and issues;
  • Maintain project schedules, providing updates, and supporting managers in forecasting realistic completion dates;
  • Provide current schedules, briefings and reports on an as and when needed basis;
  • Review project documentation such as plans, work packages and schedules to ensure accuracy of planning and performance
  •  

 Other Requirements:

  • Maintain and update relevant project information in manual and electronic files; project information might include such things as project activity schedule, status reports, correspondence;
  • Assist in the development, maintenance and tracking of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and project plans, including milestones, resource allocation, progress, trending, etc.;
  • Perform analysis and reporting on project progress, risks and issues; and
  • Maintain project schedules, providing updates, and supporting managers in forecasting realistic completion dates.
  • Demonstrated experience must be completed for a government or other large organization of over 1,000 employees.
  • Entering project financial information into financial systems;
  • Producing project financial reports; and
  • Resolving discrepancies.
