We are currently looking for a Satellite Communication Specialist for one of our opportunities in the National Capital Region.

 

Requirements (experience/skills/clearance):

  • At least five (5) collective years in the last ten (10) years of experience in writing Project Technical Documentation (e.g. Statement of Work, Statement of Requirements, technical specifications) for Information Management / Information Technology (IM/IT) projects valued $1M or more.
  • At least five (5) collective years of experience in the last ten (10) years performing engineering design, test or analysis of satellite payload equipment.
  • Specific experience of writing Project Technical Documentation must include a minimum of two collective six (6) month periods writing or co-writing Test Plan or procedures related to Satellite Payload hardware.
  • Specific experience of performing engineering design, test or analysis of satellite payload equipment in the last ten (10) years must include writing or co-writing analysis reports such as Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), Radio Frequency (RF), or Passive Intermodulation (PIM) for Satellite Payload Hardware: Resource must demonstrate experience for at least two (2) collective six (6) month periods writing or co-writing these specific reports.
  •  A degree in Electronic/ Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering, or Computer Systems Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Physics

 

The degree must be from a Candian University or a non-Canadian engineering degree that must be accredited by one of the following institutions:

 

  • Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials (CICIC);
  • World Education Services (WES); or
  • University of Toronto Comparative Education Services.
  •  
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer by any regulating body in Canada
