ADGA Group is currently seeking a Vice President of Enterprise Computing to join our successful and growing Enterprise Computing Line of Business in Ottawa.  This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive to join an established professional services organization leading a team of experienced account executives and service delivery managers working with the Canadian Federal Government, public sector and private sector customers.  The Vice President of Enterprise Computing will lead a team of up to 10 seasoned account executives and service delivery managers. This individual will have knowledge and demonstrated experience responding to government proposals and professional services related procurement processes.  He/she will also possess leadership skills that drive growth and success within the team.  The primary purpose of this role is to oversee the generation of leads, qualifying opportunities, securing new contracts and ensuring that service delivery is carried out to the highest standards for ADGA’s Enterprise Computing Line of Business.  This individual will communicate the vision and lead the development of business plans for the Enterprise Computing Line of Business.  The Vice President of Enterprise Computing reports to ADGA’s President.  The ideal candidate is a highly organized, client centric, people-focused leader, with impeccable follow through.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develops the annual Enterprise Computing Line of Business Strategic Plan.
  • Oversees the development of target account plans by account executives and service delivery managers, monitoring and adjusting regularly.
  • Establishes sales objectives including annual sales quotas for account executives.
  • Forecasts expected sales volumes and profits for existing and new professional services to be sold to our client base on a monthly basis.
  • Creates accountability framework with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for major activities related to the account executive and service delivery manager roles.
  • Assists account executives with high level sales calls.
  • Coaches and mentors account executives on sales processes and ADGA related processes.
  • Reviews and evolves ADGA’s go-to-market strategy.
  • Reviews all major RFPs and assists with bid response strategy including: bid/no bid decision and pricing strategy.
  • Establishes and adjusts pricing by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
  • Manages sales funnel through regular meetings with the account executive team.
  • Establishes, develops, strengthens, and maintains relationships with clients at all levels.
  • Consistently focuses on driving opportunities that build on our existing relationships, and allows ADGA to leverage these relationships, developing them into new partnerships.
  • Provides weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting on KPIs to the President and other ADGA Executives as required.
  • Evolves the product and service roadmap for the Enterprise Computing Line of Business.
  • Ensures that service delivery is carried out to the highest standards.
  • Builds B2B partnerships to help address market opportunities and grow ADGA’s business

 

Requirements (experience/skills/clearance):

  • Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or exceed annual sales objectives and profitability targets.
  • Significant experience in managing Enterprise Computing related Profit and Loss (P&L) for a Company.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver business and target account plans with a team of account executives and service delivery managers.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in overseeing a team of five (5) or more account executives and service delivery managers.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience selling and/or overseeing the delivery of Enterprise Computing related services to the Canadian Federal Government, public sector and private sector within a professional services firm or large corporation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor account executives and service delivery managers.
  • Possesses strong business relationships within the Canadian Federal Government, public sector and private sector client base.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a professional services organization and externally with other partner firms.
  • Proven analytical skills to set pricing and report on KPIs to help in support of strategy and business models / improvements.
  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering and/or Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience with a demonstrated ability to carry out the required duties of the position.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada issued Secret security clearance.
